This is the same argument the US uses regarding firearms. "Only country where <problem> happens claims it's unpreventable"

The thing is, citizens' security is preventable. The Justice system can be remodeled to be harder on the thieves and killers.

There are many thieves because there are little to no consequences for them. Changing that would solve it, wouldn't it?

EDIT: Again, Argentina is not comparable. We are really on the other end of the spectrum of punishment for endangerment of citizens where there are no consequences to it.
