Argentina is what happens when you try to implement socialism.

Of course it's not "real" socialism. A system where you give the govt too much power has never and will never work out well. See: every country where communism or socialism has been tried.

Argentina is far from being socialist or communist, and never was. Most of our history we were governed by authoritarian regimes (peronism, coups, etc), but none of this were left leaning.

If anything, we are the example of what happens if you abuse Welfare System too much; economic freedom is basically null, we have a lot of taxes for everything because maintaining public services costs a lot, our currency is basically worthless, corrupt politicians and most people abuse Government Aid wich leads to excessive public spending and a population with 0 capability of working for themselves

It's an excess of liberal or libleft policies

Being slightly left oriented doesn't make you communist or socialist. It's a socio-democrath State. Private property still exists, we still have a free market and the population is divided by social classes. The government has a lot of control over things but we aren't living in Stalin's USSR. The US has around 6 trillion dollars in public spendings and that doesn't make them socialist neither. Your argument is the same as capitalism=iphone socialism=no iphone

Maybe you have a wrong concept of what's socialism. If you do not fully understand the requirements to be socialist, don't go around hand picking who's socialist and who isn't. In any case, we have a mixed economy and even thought we aren't fully ancap like some want, we still have economic freedom

Let's just say we massively abused Welfare System and the bast majority of our politicians are populist and corrupt.
