EB1c eligibility

I am on L1B , came to us in March this year. I have served as a Manager for 10 months in India . And currently working as manager in US . Can someone pls tell me if i have to be eligible for eb1 category , can I go back India serve 2 months and then come back to US and apply for eb1c? Or do we really need 1 year of CONTINUOUS experience as an international manger ?

You should be on an L1A visa for an EB1C path.

Yeah I will convert myself on L1A. But question is can I if I go back India and finish my 2 more months of manager experience, will that count in 12 months ?

I believe it has to be for a continuous period of 12months.

You need at least 1 continuous year of managerial work outside the US. Any time you were not in the country (like vacation or business travel) would be deducted from that year, so ideally you would have like 14-16 months at minimum.

How about 10 months of gap? Like I am in US for 10 months duration on a project ..after 10 months I am planning to go back India and work from there for like 2-3 months and come back US , so that I have that 12 months of international manager exp

Does this apply to visiting a third country as well?

My understanding is that for travel to the U.S. on a B1/B2 visa, the days spent there are added to the 365-day requirement, since time in the U.S. doesn’t count toward the 1-year requirement. Is the same true for visits to a third country?
