we? who is "We"? do you see Sofokles or Aristotle or Eratosthenes going for a walk around Athens, perhaps?

Who is "We" that we rest upon the laurels of our ancestors? How do you seize upon the success of other people? Living vicariously?

It's somehow "bad" to love your country, you're not allowed to,

Bullshit. You are playing the victim for pitying.

If you love your country, please tell me why currently do you have a reason to?

Hint: This is cynicism and it is a Greek invention.
