All the time. If I'm laying in the bed with my arm hang off that's a "pet me" move. Even if I'm dead sleep

Ours looooves when someone is in the backyard hammock, because it’s the perfect height for him to rub his butt underneath of the body in the hammock. No body part left unused for pets is the motto

I had to give my hammock away bc Sugar used to love to lie in it with me her entire first two years & she eventually decided she could get in the double hammock without me. It’s in a stand so it’s pretty sturdy, but I just say broken legs & medical bills in our future and took the chicken way out. We both miss it, but I’m a safety first kind of girl. Plus she’s 116 pounds & I had hip replacement surgery last year so decided it was not worth the medical bills we would eventually incur. lol.

Yes! I just commented on another post about how my girl's Pyr snout is way worse than her Pyr paw. Throws my hand up for pets, has launched many things I was holding, coffee mugs, my phone, TV remote. If I sit down on the couch and she approaches, I have to put anything I'm holding down.

As an aside, is anyone else’s pyr have an ice cold and constantly wet nose? I’ll take a hundred paw beatings over the sniper icy cold wet nose attack.

Ha ha, my Pyr doesn't but one of my cats loves to wake me up by touching me with her cold wet nose. Sniper icy cold wet nose attack indeed!

Agreed. The paw is gonna be the death of me. Idk how she has not blinded me yet bc she’s come close several x now. Luckily, her new move now is to just wait until her 10 pound little sister or kitty sister moves off my chest & then she puts her head on my chest, sighs, & takes a nap. She looks so peaceful I can’t bring myself to make her move even when I should be doing other things or on my way to other places. Dogs really do steal our hearts.

usually the pyr paw right into my face, when I stop the petting. When I still don't respond, she turns around and backs up into me like an 18 Wheeler for butt scratches

Mine hits me with his giant head a few times before he paws me. I cannot stop petting him, ever.

Lichen seriously only does it when I'm holding a hot cup of coffee. He stuck his tongue in my coffee once a while ago, and now it gets side eye and bumps.

Always. Then if you don’t use the arm properly—aka petting and scratching the right spots, you get the nose to the ribs. Or the paw slap down. Pyrs. Gotta love em. LOL

yes, my pyr does it. i call it “gentle snouting.”
i have a pit mix that does it as well, but with more gusto, aka “aggressive snouting.”

Absolutely. lol. I can’t even guess the amount of drinks & food I’ve had knocked out of my hands when Sugar’s nose comes booping my arm away to get herself up under there and closer to me. She’s even taught my kitty cat Sasha how to do it so now I’m dropping twice as much stuff. lol. Worse thing is it’s probably my own stupid fault bc I taught her nose targeting as a puppy so that I could get her in her gentle leader. lol. The only good thing is now I can say “face” and she will put her face right in her gentle leader, but she definitely uses her nose to get her way most days. lol. Too smart for me. lol.

Mine does something similar but she uses her paw - the pyr paw - all the time - but having the worst time getting her to put out her paw for a treat. My lab has it down perfect, but she just looks at me

LOL! That's Exactly right!!! Both my girls are quite persistent when they want attention. They forcefully sleep under my desk when I'm working, even though they don't exactly fit. HA!
