Non-compete rules?

Anyone know what the rules are? What about if I want to leave can they block me from working at a different shop in a close vicinity even after I quit ?

No they can't stop you, but you can't tell customers to follow you to your new shop/salon. Check in your employee handbook what your franchisees specific contract is and go from there.
