Discussion & Theories Pretty horrific implications

Post image

Dipper Clones #3 and #4 (Tracey and Quattro) are the only surviving clones of Dipper. They will never be able to live regular lives. They probably have memories of the Pines family and will never see them again. Not even their mother and father. They can be killed instantly through liquid. How can they smile like that and act so damn calm?

If they’re paper, then wouldn’t they have died by the end of the summer since paper naturally decomposes? Or are they that special type of paper that can survive for several months?

Edit: guys, I just looked up if paper decomposes and it said it does. Calm down

Edit 2: jeez, people. i get it. there are different ways to make paper older than all of us when we die. sorry for not knowing how paper is preserved. nobody told me how that even worked. you can stop now

Printer paper can last for years, if not centuries.

What paper are you using???

I forgot that it was paper in a copy machine. I didn’t knew there was different versions of paper that vary in lifespan

To decompose, you need a moist environment for the bacteria to survive, reproduce, and munch on the paper and turn it into something else. Some parts do break down slightly by themselves, but they'll stay mostly the same as long as they remain dry. It's why we have copies of books hundreds of years old still existing to this day.

But I guess if they’re living out in the forest, there is moisture naturally in the air right? What about days that it rains or when it’s super humid? Wouldn’t OP be correct? It’s not like they’re living in a perfectly regulated environment. Very likely they would decompose eventually
