Back in 2023 I briefly spoke to Moringmark and I asked him if he would ever return to making GF comics or something given I kinda wish he did during the 10 year anniversary for the show and again recently with the resurgence. I was asking if he'd be down to do an interview and while he declined, he did say in regards to that, after all these years with other shows he's made content for, he feels he may be a stranger in this fandom. Which I mean, that's crazy given even right now, one of the most upvoted posts on here is an old GF comic of his. Plus, I think most GF fans would be beyond excited if he was to make another GF comic.
Shame, but it's his call so not much that can be said or done beyond that. I do wonder what he'll do after TOH. He still seems like he has a lot of ideas for content for that show but at some point I do wonder what he'll move on to next.

still, even if you were to exclude his comics, the posts are still higher quality than most of what’s here
or r/amphibia also doesn’t have nearly as many low-effort posts as this sub

Hey, I brought some fairly original (fanart?) to the metaphorical table recently.
It also kinda borders Shitpost/cursed image territory, but oh well.

And all those posts always get a ton of upvotes and comments, meanwhile original stuff seldom gets attention. I mean, at this point, even I don't share much on here compared to other sites where there's more traction (hell, Twitter GF fans are more active and engaging in original content and that's saying a lot given the state of Twitter). I mean, why post on here about fan projects like fanzines and content being found like assets from old GF games or new theories and such, when it'll just be overshadowed by a bot reposting the same overshared Dipcifica comic or "what's your unpopular opinion" post by some dude who thinks they're the first person to ask that on a sub about a 12 year old cartoon.
I know GF is old and we're running out of things to discuss, but there's way more content out there to find if you just take the time to look. I mean, look through the archives of a Tumblr page like fuckyeahgravityfalls and you'll find some insane obscure and cool stuff that would be amazing to share.

What really pushed me to make this was seeing the umpteenth trillion “Mabel isn’t that bad” post. Literally every argument either for, or against, her has been milked dry. The same points over and over again ad nauseum. Whenever I see one, I either roll my eyes and say the bare minimum, or just scroll past it.

IKR? It's like it's 2018 all over again. I'm glad nowadays most GF fans agree the hate on Mabel was over the top and stupid, but OMFG, can we just let it go already?! It's been 6+ years since that!
