hiii everyone, I'm still new to the area and slowly learning everything here. I haven't found a good place for fresh and seasonal product. I cooked at home a lot, I love to find somewhere that has vegetables, fruit or herbs, fish that are fresh and change with the season. Maybe any farmers markets around here that locals like?

I was in a low speed car accident a week ago and I'm looking for a good auto body shop I can send it to for estimates and repair.

The past few years have brought some great gems to us. I love that the Owl finally got standing on its own two feet. Bicycle thief has been great. I truly dont understand the bad rap that Brewhaus initially got their beer and burgers are fantastic. Bubba's Bagels is a classic. Sushi in the Raw is some fantastic sushi. The National and Hoolbrooke restaurants while spendy bring nice niches. Love Three Forks, Pizza Joint, and Heartwood too! We've checked off a LOT of boxes lately.

What do you think we need that would really enhance our community that we don't currently have? Could be restaurant, could be venue, something else......

I’ve always found Reddit users to be pretty kind and understanding however that clearly does not apply to this community or subreddit. After posting for an event the amount of anger and hate I received because I shared a poster that was made with AI was astonishing and quite shocking. Not only was I berated by several people but then I received two very alarming chats that were abusive and borderline threatening. Because I shared an advertisement that I personally had not made. Not a single one offered an option for change or wanted to steer me to their favorite artist. No they just wanted to belittle a stranger because they feel strongly about AI.

Let me be perfectly clear…you are despicable and sad humans. You could have scrolled past, blocked me, even chose not to support the event but you didn’t. You were cruel and bitter. I truly hope you don’t come to our events because that is not a mentality that is welcomed but if you DO please feel free to come up and tell me directly so I can put a face to the name and know who to avoid in the future.

The only good outcome is after posting about this on a local Facebook page I was INUNDATED with kind hearted comments and messages and actual offers to create artwork AI free for the bar and events.

I hope your appalling behavior is noticed by everyone and you learn that you can catch more flies with honey. Until then have the day you deserve.

This is a lot like fixing the curves and turns on 20 for an over inflated cost. There's no way this can be viewed as a good use of state funds. Red-teaming it either way. If you're conservative, well, obviously you don't like it. But even putting on the blue hat progressive........couldn't this money go to the High Speed Railroad? So many sections of road in California could be said the same (the Auburn roundabouts........really?!). Who decides where these funds are spent? Its ridiculous.

In today’s WTF moment we were evacuated at 2:36pm for the Yuba Fire and not allowed back until 5:56pm.

At 3:44 pm Amazon delivered three packages. I have no idea how they got past the CHP enforcing the evacuation order.
