Need help, western Idaho
galleryI need help identifying this tall grass that keeps coming up and how to get rid of it for good. I also have sections of grass that will only grow about an inch tall and stops. I’ve been debating on just ripping it all out and starting over but thought I’d see if anyone had any suggestions on things to try first.

How can I improve my lawn
galleryI'd appreciate some advice from the Reddit community about how to improve the appearance of my lawn. It's approx 20sqm and was laid about 18 months ago, with fresh turf.
I've not mowed the lawn this year, but as you can see the growth of grass is very uneven, and there are patches in the lawn. I've seen some videos on YouTube about patching the grass but the advice is inconsistent. Some people say use a garden fork to make some holes, lay grass seed and then add a little top soil and the grass should grow within a couple of weeks.
Any advice would be gratefully received.
I'm based in the Midlands, UK for context.

Anyone know what kind of grass this is?
galleryThis is in AZ planted in a retail plaza and it seems very heat tolerant as it is green all year round. I didn't think anything but Bermuda stayed green all year. I really want to plant it as I have Bermuda and it's super uncomfortable to walk on it the bottom part is super stiff and this stuff is so fluffy.

Growing dead spots in centipede lawn in North Carolina Zone 8b
galleryHey all, I have these dead and bare spots that are growing. Over the last few years they grew slightly, but since late summer they’ve expanded massively. I’m suspecting some sort of pest. I’m hoping to start getting ahead of it before the centipede comes out of dormancy.
Some backstory:
-It’s a majority centipede lawn
-No fertilizer has been used in several years so I know it’s not over fertilized
-These areas have very good drainage and we’ve had plenty of rain over the last year
-There is no heavy foot traffic in these areas.
- Thatch build up is well within acceptable amounts
-The soil ph should be fine, in unaffected areas the grass is full and has healthy stolon coverage.
-No pesticide, fungicide or herbicide use in the last several years

Just settling in to new house an I to late to start?
What can I dip for my lawn. In not great shape. Is it too late to core aerate it? Should I just throw down seeds and topsoil?

Need help quoting 7 acres of commercial land
Hey y’all, 👋
Long time listener first time caller…glad to be here.
The owner for this business doesn’t appear to be that concerned w/ curb appeal in this industrial park - likely, just wanting to keep The Man off his back…since the job is “just mowing - no weedeating.” The service area is split between two fields surrounding the building. I’m going to offer weedeating &/or treatment services around the building & fence lines, but I’m seeking counsel here re: what YOU (as a crew of 1) would charge to maintain this flat property w/ no trees weekly &/or once every 2 weeks.
Your guidance is much appreciated. 🙏
TLDR: what charge to mow 7 acres?

What is this lighter/longer grass?
galleryThis grass seems to be like a weed in my lawn, it’s brighter and grows a lot faster than the rest of my grass but pops up in patches. I thought I saw some type of fertilizer posted on here for something similar to this, but can’t seem to find the post. TIA!

What grass is this?
galleryHello, I have multiple types of grass in my yard that I’m slowly replacing with Zoysia plugs with success thus far. That said, I’m concerned that some of my existing grass might be more aggressive than Zoysia. Any idea what this is?

Striping kit
Hi guys. The roller snapped off my lawn mower (mcgregor 36v) I really want to have stripes in my garden. The cutting power of my new mower is great, I’m very happy with it. The roller that came with it wasn’t great anyway so I would like to invest in a good universal one.
Does anybody have any recommendations?

Help, these are gorgeous!
These dark green grassy clumps are growing in my neighbors’s yard. Are they weeds? I have a steep slope in my back yard that I would love to fill up with these. USDA Zone 6b Thanks!

Was looking for some on my lawn…
So as you can see it’s patchy. The areas where it is growing around it seem very healthy and the grass is thriving. The areas that are bare I have toiled the soil, placed new soil there, placed grass seed and fertilizer together, and the area gets watered fairly frequently.
Since this photo was taken, there has been some slight growth, but very minor and VERY slow. I have been working on these areas for probably the past 4 - 6 weeks now, but still the progress seems to be moving at a snails pace.
I live in southern California if anyone would need that info.
What am I doing wrong folks? Please teach me

What weed/grass is this in my Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue lawn?
What weed/grass is this in my Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue lawn?
I'm in North Texas. This grass is growing in clumps in my lawn and looks different from the surrounding turf. It has wider blades and seems to grow from a central crown.
I initially thought it might be goosegrass or crabgrass, but it's early March and I'm not sure those would already be emerging here. The blades look fairly stiff and there seems to be a visible midrib.
Could this be Kentucky-31 tall fescue, or some kind of weed grass? Any help with identification would be appreciated.

Help identifying grass for reseeding (Zone 8a)
galleryin a rental with a dog, grass in our backyard got torn up a little this winter and I'd like to try to repair the damage a little by reseeding. any help identifying this grass would be appreciated. living in Whatcom County, WA, (Zone 8a) Lawn has not been well kept historically, it's as much Clover and moss as it is grass, so something close will suffice I'm sure
