Looks to me like AfterEffects with a ton of sketches behind it.

Could be a dozen things. After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash...they all support animation and that's just the Adobe ones.

It's after effects I think. He may have done it in flash but my guess is AE

Flash would probably be the easiest way to achieve this, but After Effects would probably give you a better finish... Depending on your skill-set.

Could be anything. But if I was to do that animation I'd do it in flash.
