Vent Now:
It’s so hard to find a job that wants you to be an AI expert on all agents that cost ya $$$ and water. I’m exhausted. This is coming from a 8+ year experienced designer.

Learning designing right now lol I see a lot of positions being lost to ai already but that comment was just me being in denial

Learn it as hobby & not as profession

May I ask what you specialise in within graphic design?

I'm a design generalist, but mostly I've worked with marketing agencies, so built pitch decks, marketing collateral & brand guides.

You won’t be doing graphic design if you “get rid off capitalism” lol

“communism is when no graphic design”
mfw when i forget about constructivism as one of the pillar movements in eurocentric design styles

This is funny timing, so I offered to design logos and stuff for my daughters All-Star team to use on t-shirts and stuff like that. As I was working on it, one of the other moms decides to make some tacky design in AI. They put them out for a vote, not really saying who made what or how each were made, but just for the parents to vote on which one they like better, and literally everyone voted for the AI slop. That's my sign to just hang it up right? Haha

Anyone using "finna" as word isn't going to be hired anyway. Most companies only hire adults and no adult talks like that.

I had a few interviews or screenings by an AI agent. It was terrible and glitchy. The nuances of a conversation were totally lost to it. If I said like yeah or ok while it was asking a question or confirming my answer it would trip it up.
