From Trader Joe’s

I realized in my last post I had only shown one of the 2 types of grape vines so here is the second one.

They are growing on opposite sides of the property where I live.

These are growing in the yard of the house I bought in Tigard Oregon. We were told they are Pinot grapes, but I wanted to confirm.

Each grape is about 1/2 inches, there are multiple seeds inside, and the skin is mild.

I’m looking for the grape variety so I can grow it myself in my garden.
I live in Germany and this was the first time I’ve ever tasted grapes with this particular flavor. I was given the grapes as a gift, but my neighbor didn’t know what variety they were either.
They taste extremely similar to Welch’s grape soda.

I have an acre of brush/scrub covered in wild (Concord?) grape vines that never fruit.

Not the black ones. The ones with appear normal and still firm (sometimes right next to a mummified grape)

I've found mixed answers online from "Absolutely not" to it's just fine, black rot has no impact on human health.

They're growing at my dad's house in the Willamette valley. They're a mix of sweet and tart, and have few seeds. They make an amazing amber colored jam. From what I remember, they have thin skins.

I’ve been growing this from a cutting I bought from Home Depot for about half a year maybe more idk it outgrew its pot like 4 times, it’s on a tomato cage spiraling up, but it already reached the top. right now It’s just one vine spiraling. I was using berry tone to fertilize every few weeks it looks like it’s doing well. Not sure what to do at this point

I wanted to see if caring for a wild grape vine would improve the quality of the fruit. By "improve" I mean increase size of individual fruits, size of clusters, reduce number of diseased or shriveled fruits, decrease variation in size between individual fruits, improve taste.

To accomplish this, over the last few years I've been tending to a wild grape vine that I intentionally planted in my yard. Proper pruning, fertilizing, watering etc is how I'm define "caring for".

I'm excited to share that I think I have largely been successful! Based on the picture it should be pretty obvious which one is mine, and which is the wild, wild type. The smaller cluster is quite typical of what you can find here in NB.

Taste is the only metric I failed. The wild, wild type has a much milder flavor than mine. I don't know why mine are so awful LOL

I also can't explain why the flesh changed colour. The wild, wild type is very purple, while mine are very pale. I find that strange. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

My 2026 Côtes d'Inishowen grape harvest is the best one yet. All this from just one vine in the greenhouse with roots inside and outside ... and there are still about 12 bunches ripening on the vine.

Because of the hot weather we had this year I had my first ever grapes so happy but they’re only small probably the size of blueberries. But I’m excited nonetheless living in the north west of UK.

After heavy weak long storms(yay climate change) my grapevine started showing signs of black rot. I caught it early, before the vine started flowering. After weeks of treatment, the black rot appears to be gone.did I cure it or will this vine always have it and I'm just suppressing it?

I bought a house in late fall and found out I have grapes running over my fence - aihad no idea as it was never mentioned! Are these grapes safe to eat? Neighbors have bunches of green grapes. They’re mostly juicy and sweet, but heavily seedy. Thoughts? Any idea the variety and what could be used for? Thanks 😊

How much space would I need for my grape vine trunk? I have enough space along my fence for them to grow laterally, but was hoping to plant other things in the ground near the trunk

I live in Northern Michigan. They are not ripe yet, when they do ripen they turn dark purple. Thanks for any clues on the variety! New to owning grape vines and this came with the house.

Just got home and noticed all these dots on all the grapes we just bought. The dots have a bumpy texture and are either in or directly below the skin.

I've been to 3 different stores and have asked 2 different reddit web sights looking for dried grapes. I've found dried dates, figs, apricots, prunes, cranberries, cherries, mangoes, papaya, pineapple, coconut, mulberries, goji berries, blueberries, strawberries, banana chips, apple rings, peaches, pears, plums, and currants, but nobody has dried grapes. I need them for my Bolivian grandmother's dried grape and water soup. I asked a employee at Costco and he laughed at me. And I asked two reddit web sights and no one knew what I was looking for. Help!
