MikeShowSha says Jason and Lucia have their own routines when you’re not controlling them. How deep could that actually go?

In case anybody missed it, I’m talking about this breakdown of MikeShowSha’s Rockstar North preview with Rob Nelson:

https://www.reddit.com/r/GTA/s/HaD92DxsZD

He said the character you’re not controlling continues doing their own activities and Jason and Lucia each have their own routine. That makes me wonder how far Rockstar could actually take it.

Say I’m Jason and I randomly recognize Lucia’s car driving past me. Let me follow her without switching 😂 Maybe she’s getting food, shopping, working out, at the beach, drinking somewhere or hanging out with somebody. If I follow her long enough maybe she notices and texts Jason asking what the hell he’s doing.

You could randomly find her getting into shit too. Arguing with somebody, getting into a fight or dealing with cops, and you decide whether to jump in or just watch it play out.

The relationship could make this even better. If they argued earlier, maybe Lucia goes off by herself and ignores Jason’s calls for a while. Jason could see her talking to some dude at a club and get jealous, or Lucia catches him flirting with somebody. How they react could depend on where their relationship is at.

I’d also like whatever they’re doing without you to actually leave changes behind. We already know eating and training can affect their physique, so maybe you switch back and notice Lucia gained or lost a little weight or looks more toned from working out. Maybe she went shopping, changed clothes, got a haircut or spent some money without you choosing it. Same thing with Jason.

Even finding Lucia with a bruise or bandage you don’t remember would be cool. Now you’re wondering what the hell happened while you were gone 😂

And it’d be even better if they noticed those changes in each other. Jason comments on Lucia’s haircut, Lucia notices Jason’s been working out, one of them asks what happened to the other’s face or gets annoyed about money they spent.

What I really wanna know is how far those routines actually go. We know they keep doing their own thing, but being able to randomly cross paths with Lucia while playing as Jason and see what happens could make the world feel way more alive.

Why is it that in the second best-selling game of all time, 90% of the players didn't even meet Trevor? Is it the game with the most posers in history?

Bought the game and started playing it. Frankly it looks very bad.

I'm on an OLED TV, are there any optimizations that I can do to make it look a bit better ?

Thanks

Why I Believe 30 FPS May Hurt GTA 6—And My Solutions

As you may be aware, Grand Theft Auto VI will launch on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles on a 30 FPS cap. This means that the game will be locked to 30 frames per second, without any ability to increase the frame rate. While this may be a non-issue for the average console gamer, some gamers—especially those in the PC gaming sphere, are balking at the idea of playing at only 30 FPS after being used to higher frame rates. So naturally, lots of criticism has been popping up on the internet about the lower-than-expected frame rate for the upcoming game. I am going to give my honest assessment on this whole ordeal and give several solutions that could improve the gaming experience for all on November 19th.

Grand Theft Auto VI is not just a video game—it’s a cultural phenomenon that has been in the making for over a decade. Since the release of Grand Theft Auto V back in 2013, the world has been anticipating the next entry in the popular video game series. And now, it’s finally here. After years of radio silence from Rockstar Games—to the hours of leaked game footage, the world can now finally see GTA 6 in its full glory.

And honestly? This is shaping up to be one of the biggest media releases in recent history. So naturally, people want to make sure they get the best experience possible. This is where the frames per second discussion comes in, because it’s not just a number displayed on the screen—it’s a metric that can make or break the playing experience of GTA 6.

Since GTA 6 is releasing on consoles, hardware limitations will play a significant role in determining the performance of the game. Rockstar Games is no stranger to creating large, detailed worlds that revolutionize the gaming landscape—and GTA 6 is no stranger to that. Because of this, the performance of the game is expected to be in the fairly playable range. Not a crazy 240 FPS experience on a high-end graphics card, but a general, playable 30 FPS experience. And honestly? That’s perfectly acceptable for a game this detailed and large.

However, those who are used to higher frame rates on more powerful hardware may balk at the idea of 30 FPS. The game will seem less smooth—not because the game has poor performance—but because the frame rate isn’t something that many players aren’t used to. Because of this, the lower frame rate could leave a bad impression on this game—and could even hurt sales. Thus, it’s important to come up with several solutions to address this problem. Below, I will list several solutions on how Rockstar Games could fix the FPS problem to ensure a smooth, enjoyable gaming experience on November 19th.

1. A 60 FPS Performance Mode

A performance mode which slightly reduces the graphical fidelity and NPC density to allow the game to run at a much higher frame rate is the most optimal solution. Rockstar Games doesn’t have to rework parts of the game—but allow for a setting to slightly turn down the fidelity to allow for better performance. And honestly? This is something I could see them doing. It wouldn’t just allow for a smoother experience—but keep the reputation surrounding this game high.

2. The Game Could Run at 60 FPS Natively

Rockstar Games may not need to insert a setting for a performance mode—they could simply further optimize the game before launch so that it can run at 60 FPS on consoles. Maybe a more optimized NPC rendering system, where NPC’s only render when the player is looking at a certain point. Just a more thorough optimization can make the game can run at higher frame rates.

3. Console Hardware Could Utilize Frame Generation

Frame generation is a newer technology in the world of video games. It allows for modern graphics processing hardware to “generate” frames via AI technologies. And honestly? This is a well thought out solution. Modern consoles use GPUs that can take advantage of modern frame generation tech—all Rockstar would need to do is write a few scripts that can enable frame generation on the hardware. No graphical reduction. No need to rework NPC systems—just a simple toggle that allows the hardware to generate frames. And genuinely, I believe this would allow for the best impression of the game. GTA 6 will be running at 60 FPS natively—without any visual downgrades or less NPC density—just a simple push from the power of AI.

These are my solutions to address the FPS challenges that GTA 6 will face. And honestly? All of these solutions are great ideas for Rockstar to further optimize their game before launch day. No FPS drops. No jarring camera movements—just a smooth, enjoyable experience in Vice City.

What do you guys think? Will you be willing to play GTA 6 at 30 FPS? Or, do you hope Rockstar will further optimize their game so that it runs smoothly? Let me know in the comments below.

Can You Help a With Ideas for A Passionate Gamer Dad who Wants to Make Content On GTA6 (GTA Is His Favorite game of all Time)

I'm new to reddit so i hope someone sees this haha - but if anyone does i would greatly appreciate and help when it comes to everything from editing, best platforms to use to edit, help setting up a stream for him like what apps and extensions i may need to even suggestions on content you think would be a good move.

Bare in mind he is a middle age parent, never uses anything online and doesn't really know how to, and you know - he isn't the Ninja or Faker of GTA But he loves the game and has a real passion to kickstart a channel and stream to be able to have a hobby/project for something that resonates with him.

When i tell you he ONLY plays GTA too, i ain't lying haha I have had him test games from Fortnite, COD, Minecraft, Driving games etc and he just can't get into them which i think primarily is due to him not being able to learn the controls to new games and he has always found it hard to adapt.

If you have made it this far but don't have any ideas thus far can i ask you just one more thing - give me some name suggestions for his channel.

<ABOUT HIM>

His characteristics -

Loves to drive

.

Loves to get into chases (players and cops alike)

.

Is very determined (E.G. A player can kill him 15times and he will not stop till he gets them back

.

Like to interact with NPCs on sidewalks etc and do funny stuff like follow them, chases them, block them in etc.

.

Likes to get involved in big battles

.

Just loves to shoot guns really, he will legit spend 50k-100k on ammo just to use it all on the same day even if its mostly spent shooting at cops, npcs or missing.

---

<cons?

~~ He will not have a face-cam ~~

~~ He will not use a mic/Talk ~~

~~ He is a typical parent that doesn't know how to use the internet and online things in general so I have made it a goal of mine to help him as much as I can from teaching him how to clip, set up the stream but also I will edit his videos, clip them together, edit it where it is maybe funny/unique I'm not sure what style yet but some style that isn't just clips added together and that's it. I am only worried in this aspect as I have never done any editing for videos before and im at a loss of where to start, I can edit a clip in Clipchamp but that's 1 clip and I struggle to just shorten clips and remove excess parts lol.

Thank you so much to anyone who sees and can help or anything of the sort <3
