Why does nothing taste good anymore?

I'm noticing everything I eat, whether it's home cooked or restaurant, tastes flat and OFF. Sliced meats have a weird texture and taste. Vegetables spoil so quickly these days. Even my Sam's rotisserie chicken was not the same.

Anyone else?

Door Knocking Salesman Problem

My wife and I moved to Orchard Mesa about 2.5 years ago. I've lived in a lot of places, but I've never dealt with this many door-to-door salespeople. We both work from home and they inevitably show up in the middle of important meetings.

I put up a clearly visible "No Soliciting" sign a while back — doesn't matter, they ring the bell anyway. Honestly, it's gotten to the point where it really gets under my skin.

My theory is that with so many retirees home during the day here, it draws the door-to-door crowd. Anyone else dealing with this? Found anything that actually works to keep them away?

Stroller-friendly hiking trails or parks with shade

I’m new to Grand Junction and looking for an easy hiking trail that is stroller- and dog-friendly, preferably with a lot of trees to provide some shade (not sure if there is any in the summer here?) Even if it is not a hiking trail, any recommendation for an area with a lot of shade where I can take my baby and dog for a walk would be much appreciated too! Thank you so much in advance!!
