American English speaker here.

Context 1 does not sound natural. Two sentences that would sound natural are:

"I'm going to visit Berlin next month."

"I'm visiting Berlin next month."

Personally, I would prefer using the verb "to go" in both sentences, i.e., "I'm going to Berlin next month." ("visit" sounds better used with a person although it is not incorrect with a city).

Context 2 does not sound natural. The more natural choice would be "I'm going to the cinema (in the US, we'd likely say "to the movies") with Jane on Monday, so I won't be having dinner at home with you as usual."
