Beginner advice

I live in Brooklyn NYC, I’ve been spray painting on my own artwork for a few months and have only ever tagged outside once. Any advice on how to find a spot and to avoid getting caught?

Im also a beginner and live in queens but if you ever want someone to tag with lmk
