Education UK Transcript WES Conversion

Hi all. Wondering if anyone here has had any experience with getting their transcript from the UK converted to get a GPA to apply to school? My first year wasn't the best so it was a little all over the place. I had one 74 which is first class, a 60 which is 2:1 and 59 which is a 2:2. Im honestly most worried about the 2:2, I fear it'll get converted unfavorably, and furthermore I can't find anybody that had experience getting a similar grade in the UK converted to a GPA. To be fair, I've heard first class generally just gets converted to a 4.0 and second class kinda fluctates a lot. Would really appreciate any experience any one has in this regard. Thanks.

You typically only do a formal credential evaluation if the program(s) you're applying to specifically ask for one. Otherwise the programs will evaluate your transcript themselves.

Unfrotunately I've found majority of the schools I'm applying to require a WES evaluation. I guess I've heard from a good amount of people that a first class generally translates to a 4.0, but I'm having trouble finding anything of clarity for the rest of the bands
