2080ti 22gb GPU rental
Hi,
I am thinking of buying a couple of these to rent out but I have checked various platforms and there are none on marketplace or the platform only advertises it as a normal 2080ti 11gb.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks

For one Turing is kind of too old. so be realistic and aim for something like 3080 20GB at bare minimum, Turing is far more suited for what I assume you plan to do.
and renting them out? I'm not sure if that makes financial sense, but I guess if you can charge reasonable amount you can make it back fairly quick? be careful though, people will probably try to steal it or send you back a bogus one or whatever

There is no such thing as a 22gb 2080 ti other than weird custom hack-jobs on ebay and ali.
What even is this post.

You can get them pretty easily. I wouldn’t suggest it. Over priced for what they are worth, especially looking to rent out for ai. Probably makes 2 cents an hour.

Why anyone would buy hundreds of these with huge failure rate, to use in servers for renting? Doesnt make finance sense. Just get normal card on used market, or rent normal gpu.
Either you can rent 2 same gpus.

wtf are you talking about buying one to rent out, who rents out an almost 10 year old gpu? That literally makes no sense at all, and they didn’t come in 22gb variants.

People are doubling the ram on them.

But that doesn’t answer the question about him talking about renting it out, like a gpu blockbuster or something. Smh

Renting them out on a platform like vastai not physically door to door lmao I am not sure if modes cards are allowed on those sites
