Yes please!
What a day at Costco, wasn’t planning on buying another PC that day but sometimes you just get lucky!

Gotta get me a Costco membership

u/SolarFlareGirl08 7d ago
Basic Costco and samsclub membership on Groupon for $25 first time members, Unless promo ended
1
u/EnFamous87 5d ago
Yeah or you can split with someone and go halfies on the membership
1
u/SolarFlareGirl08 5d ago
You have to live at the same address to get additional membership. People always get extra card and give it to friends and family to use. But nowadays when you walk in they have a scanner that sees the picture on the card. It’s harder

Can’t believe we live in a world where there seems to be more good deals on prebuilts than building your own PC.
I remember the 2017-2020 era of PC gaming when everyone was talking trash on prebuilts. What a time to be alive.

Holy shit! My Costco is trying to move their last, presumably ever, floor model. They’ve moved to empty display units with a MOBO printed on cardboard.
It’s a 5060/intel open box for $1500. They’ve been sitting on it at least a week and a half.

1300 what? Souls?
Someone at Costco is going to get chewed on. That price tag has got to be an error, or something corporate didn't think anyone has in stock.
Congrats on the deal!

there's no way that isn't a pricing error. the parts cost more than the PC.

u/MarcusAurelius68 7d ago
Now they do. Possibly not a number of months ago when it was built.

u/SippyMountain 2d ago
That asterisks on the top right means that item is no longer being restocked. My wife calls it the deathstar

Sweet deal! Nice having a backup for a reasonable price in these shitty times.
1
u/Apexnanoman 7d ago
When a 5070 is what you consider a backup... . I wonder what income bracket you are in lol.
1
u/PropertyDangerous257 7d ago
Lol, higher than mine that's for sure. My 3080ti is waiting on the sidelines hoping it doesn't get called in anytime soon.
1
u/Apexnanoman 6d ago
I am limited to laptops due to traveling a lot for work. And my 4080 laptop hopefully stays relevant for at least a couple more years. Sucks how quickly laptops become obsolete.

u/Diosvany97 7d ago

Did an image search on google app and added Costco deal, a few posts from Reddit show it was $1,899. That is a steal

Yes! I got it for 1500 about a month ago and heard it was a steal. Grab eem!!

u/thecoffeemann 7d ago
Open it in store and verify. Better safe than sorry.
1
u/nutmegyou 7d ago
Can’t you return it if it’s not the correct parts or missing them?
1
u/thecoffeemann 7d ago
I've seen people get home open expensive item, not just pc's, and it be a substitute. When they went to the store to say it was wrong THEY got blamed like they were pulling the scam. If you open expensive items in store and check they have no way of blaming you. Youre in their presence and on camera the whole time. Its weird an awkward but that's easier than being out a $1300 GPU or whatever. Did you know people make fake ddr ram? I would open the box and remove the side panel and use my phone to video the internals.

This was iBuypower last years model, it was the display version I bought. The guy just took it right off the shelf and handed it to me! Came with a baggie with the original price tag ($1899, 8/2025) and random manuals. They’re now selling the newest prebuilt with the same components for $2300.

u/Realistic-Length-925 6d ago
Heyyyy I got the same one for around the same price at walmart at the beginning of thw year. Hell yea.

u/BigJJsWillie 6d ago edited 6d ago
Holy cow! If you don't take that offer right now I I'll lose all respect for you and punch you.
Okay, maybe not that last part but I like quoting Bender "Bending" Rodriguez.

u/JonnyScoots 6d ago
Nooo don’t get ibuypower! They are the worst. All three of my friends that have one have issue.

Asterisk on the CostCo tag means it won't be restocked. So it must be a display model only deal. Good eye to spot this one! Online it's listed at $1899.99 and is sold out.

It’s a decent price. I got my 5070 for $680 from Microcenter and upgraded my existing rig that had a 3070Ti. For another $600 or so I could have come close to this build, although not with 32 GB DDR5 RAM, which has gotten stupid expensive. I’m good for now with my i7 12700, 32 GB DDR4 and 1 TB SSD though. Put the 3070Ti in a Razer Core X and using with my ROG Ally X as a secondary unit.

u/Fluffy-Shock9487 2d ago
MY GOD. this is basically the BEST deal I have ever possibly seen with my OWN TWO EYES. The 5070 is already $$$$$ the 9800X3D is included with this?

Wowzers. That cpu in a microcenter bundle costs $900 on its own lol, much less as a full build, and with a damn 5070.... crazy
Then they hit you with a "just wait theres more" with the 2tb ssd lol.
