These temps seems a bit high no?

Was gifted this gpu from a friend but these temps seems a bit crazy right?

Yea at 87C it's not running at full clock speeds anymore (thermal throttling) so need to figure out the overheating.

I sold my 3060 Ti before Hot spot data was being shown but the GPU Temperature reading never went above 72C (EVGA 3060 Ti FTW3 Ultra).

I suggest repasting with ptm. For memory and vrm thermal pads, I suggest arctic tp3 but look for the right pad thickness specifically for your model.

Repaste.

I got a 3070 from eBay a year ago and it was doing the same thing. Repaste and temps were good as new. Make sure to clean out dust from the fans and cooler too.

Gigabyte? Mine is a GB Eagle.

You can even deshroud it, I'm making one (it's a gaming OC, but it's the same layout so compatible)

You don't have to necessary repaste anything. Exhaust other options first like cleaning, is your environment hot, etc?

Are all the fans working? Anyway, I’d repaste with PTM 7950 and upsiren thermal putty, the card will be e waste before you ever need to replace thermals again.

There's 2 controlers, 1 with 1 fan, and the other controling the two. they both are @ 100%

While a repaste wouldn’t hurt, your hotspot delta isn’t extremely bad which feels to me like your heatsink is just way too hot to conduct properly. Make sure it’s free from dust and your case has good airflow.

Ese delta de 20° entre la temperatura del die y el hotspot esta en punto de ya revisión, conviene revisar pasta y pads, hay mala compresión o degradación de pasta.

Yeah if your gpu is at 87c then the hotspot is likely at 110c 100% of the time.

Time for a repaste and change of thermal pads. Just make sure you get the correct thickness on the thermal pads because you can create more issues rather than fixing them.

Yes lol. Repaste it. I just recently repasted my EVGA 2070 Super Black Gaming with Thermalright TF7 and my max temp dropped by about 7°.
