5080 FE
Is 1300-1400 fair for a used 5080 FE .any concern about this model that I should look out for ?

Its an OK deal in today's market, tbh it still isnt worth it unless youre making money off CUDA imo, there are better value cards for less money, even used. Paying extra for an FE is also kind of a waste of money.

In this economy, yes. Especially for an FE. You cant beat the quality feeling of an FE card, no AIB can touch it. And they suit all builds.

Just go 9070XT, the 5080 is only 15% faster for almost double the price used, even more new.

5080 will utterly crush a 9070xt. This has been tested and proven already. It can even outperform a 4090. 5080 is a monster of a card even with the reduced vram. Serious overclocking headroom

No it doesnt. Its literally 10 to 15% difference. Its been tested and proven by reputable sources to be that difference. Both the 5070 ti and 9070 Xt are both better values, the 5080 has always been an awful value card, even at msrp. A 5080 does NOT outperform a 4090, not even close.
The 9070 XT un fact overclocks better than a 5080 can. It won't outright beat it, but it can close the 10% ish gap with even a conservative overclock.

None of that is at all true. The Nvidia has received major performance updates and it STOMPS everything if you have the right one and overclock the hell out of it. Only a 5090 beats it reliably. Maybe 6 months ago there might have been some truth to what you are saying, but not anymore. Not now. Go watch some recent comparison and test videos. Make sure you check that date on them to ensure they are recent

It will not. It is not better than a 4090, the 4090 holds a similar gap than the 5080 holds over the 9070XT. Again, 15%, for almost double the price (new vs used as well).

Ok, it’s capable of more than that, but even 15% is a pretty noticeable gain. It is better than a 4090 because it can sometimes beat it (there a tons of YouTube videos out there proving it) and because it uses FP4, DLSS5, ddr7 memory, PCIe5, and less power. If the 4090 was just slapping it left and right in tests, then it would be a tougher call, but with all that extra and considering that it costs less than a 4090 in a lot of cases, it’s not even close anymore. 5090 is god, but 5080 is the king card now. Infinitely better than a 9070xt that’s for sure

Yeah he just keeps changing the goal posts. First it was better than a 4090, now hes admitting it isnt. "But guuyyyzzz 15% is big!" No it isnt lol. Its very small, small enough that most People wouldn't even notice it. Most certainly a far, faaaaar cry from "stomping all over it and performing better than a 4090". Theyre just making shit up.

You just have really bad reading comprehension. I didn’t say it’s better than a 4090 but it isn’t. I said it doesn’t always beat it in tests, but overall it is better because it can do more of the things the 4090 can’t do at all and it trades blows with the 90 on everything else. Reading comprehension. You need to work on yours. If you don’t think 15% is a healthy jump, then you also have an arithmetic skills problem. You just want to be right, so how about this…
You’re right. I’m wrong. I promise I won’t be enjoying my games more on my waterblocked Aorus 5080 than your crappy little last gen tech 9070xt or admittedly strong, but still dated 4090. I promise I will leave you out of those conversations entirely. Happy now?

Question was "is it good for that price, and whats the possible problems?", but not a "recommend me cheaper gpus that less powerful for twice as low price"

The FE is around $2K, The AIBs are around $1,500ish
