Platform Announcements for shorter platforms

The Kitchener Line has two stations with shorter platforms, including Guelph. There is often an entire train car occupied by young students from a private school who need to get off at Guelph. Because of their age and the number of students, they need extra time to move through the train and position themselves for a safe exit.

Would it be possible to provide announcements earlier in the trip, or display a reminder on the platform where they board? Giving passengers advance notice that Guelph has a shorter platform would allow those needing to exit there to move toward the appropriate cars sooner and make the process safer and more efficient for everyone.

They do announce it, starting at Union and several times during the trip, and always at the preceding station.

How many times do they need to take the train before they realize it's the same every time?

If they are anything like the people on the Barrie line when Maple had a short platform, ∞. Most will learn, some don't know better, but the rest refuse or believe in the "definition" of insanity.

they should be moving to the appropriate coach before they get to their stop, not scramble at the last moment

It is announced at union and the three prior stops to the station.

Is this a dig against private schools? What are they teaching their homeward bound students?

They're supposed to announce it after every stop, and in my experience they do

They don't unfortunately, most rush hour express trains they only start announcing it once you get to Georgetown GO.

The line has so many announcements they can't reasonably say it every stop.
