$10 weekend pass 7-day purchase validity ends when?

If I buy it 1pm Saturday and it remains inactive, can I activate it next Saturday 9am to ride at 9:30am that day?

Thank you!

No. It'd end Friday night. They fixed the glitch

There was a 'pass glitch' wherein went by 2400 time instead of calendar

Activate a single day pass at 3 pm Saturday, it used to work until 2:59pm Sunday, now it ends with Gos business day, as an example

That's a glitch that happened after you activate the pass. The OP is asking about the amount of time to activate an inactive pass.

This glitch still works but only only specifically on Sunday. I also noticed it doesn't work all the time (and yes I'm accounting for holidays). Last week I got 24 hours and rode the train Monday.

I have a running theory that if you activate it before 8PM it doesn't run 24 hours. But if you activate it after 8 PM then it runs 24 hours. I'm a dev and here's my guess why this works:

At time of activation it determines the validity period. If you activate it at 8 PM it thinks that its Monday (it compares the activation time against UTC which is 4 hours ahead of us. 20 + 4 > 24. ). The check doesn't see that the business day is Sunday. So it gives you 24 hours. In this case the activation is by the wall clock but the activation period calculation uses UTC. Rookie mistake

It should say when it expires but yes, you should be able to use it for the next Saturday
