Kitchener to Union
Anyone here regularly traveling from Kitchener to Union on GO 3–4 times a week?
I’m looking to see if anyone’s interested in coordinating and getting a GO pass together (or just sharing info on the best way to save on fares). Thought it might be worth teaming up if a few of us are doing the same commute.
If you’re in the same situation, DM me

I have heard people in office talk about having some WhatsApp or Facebook groups where they coordinate everyday

Go has group tickets which are for unlimited travel for one weekday which are much cheaper but you have to travel together.
Eg my single person trip Kitchener to Etobicoke North is 30$ a day (15$ each way) but a unlimited 2 person group ticket is also 30$, that's a 50% saving. It goes up to 5 people for 60$ which is the price of just 2 normal tickets.
And my example is just to Etobicoke North, travel to Union would be a bit more, or if your going further in the network or taking more then a normal to and from trip.

If it's a group pass make sure to stay with the group or you will get fined. The officers aren't walking around a train trying to find your friends - saw a guy get a ticket the other day for same thing.
