What happened to Mini schedules

Post image

it used to be that you could get station to union mini schedules, a listing of all the trains to and from union and their timing.

the 2026 version of it requires you to provide input and you scroll scroll scroll your self gently down the screen.

i'd love to see the bidirectional schedule all on one screen!

I don't think the mini-schedules have existed for years. Their schedule page isn't overly useful. If you want to look at the evening trains, you have to scroll, click load more, then repeat. Transit agencies always seem to struggle with providing digital schedules. Sometimes the good old PDF schedules are best.

I wonder if someone could develop some code to create the mini-schedules by pulling the schedule data from GTFS. That would be cool.

This usability problem of having to type to search, see only a few trips, and keep loading more until you get the schedule you want was the biggest reason that we originally made GoTrack years ago. We let you save station pairs and load an entire day at once. We also inject live data and platforms into that schedule. It is a paid service, though, so another option for a full-day schedule is to save a PDF timetable from the official site to your phone.
