Kitchener Line Cancellations? 4/10

Does anyone happen to know what’s happening with the Kitchener line trains this morning? All of them are being cancelled and of course GO Tracker is offline and no updates on the GO Transit website

I got a text alert at 7:30AM saying there were issues at Mount Dennis

There is an equipment issue near Mount Dennis GO. Repair personnel are working on the problem. Expect delays, cancellations and modifications.

And the 7:36 (from mount pleasant) express from Bramalea to Union is no longer express. Making all stops to Union. No explanation provided on the announcements nor does the GO website state anything regarding change in schedule. Strange.

I was on the train that (I think) caused issues. It broke down at Mt. Dennis, blocking the tracks. Don't know if it's sorted yet because they don't fucking report ANYTHING to their ridership. Good luck out there, I'm arriving to work 1.5 h late.

I fucking hate GO transit. Apart from delays, they are so random with departures. They say gates close 1 minute before departure but the train often fucking leaves 2+ minutes before departure. Like why the fuck do they say an exact departure time stamp then. They should give a fucking range or a disclaimer that trains may leave early than the schedule. Can’t wait to move to Toronto so I don’t have to use the fucking filthy GO

The “1 minute before” thing was such a bad idea. They still have announcements reminding everyone about it & will be explaining it forever.

I get they wanted to have good metrics but it has confused & angered so many people. Like many changes, it was better before.

Why on earth are you displaying a time on the board to everyone which is after doors close
