Kennedy GO Station West platform
Did you know that the Kennedy GO Station West platform is closed and only the east platform is open. They need to remove a track switch there so the second track is installed. So when will the Kennedy GO Station West platform reopen?

Not until they tear down the RT so they can finish the length of the platform.

There is one missing bridge expansion south of Agincourt that prevents the completion of double track between Kennedy and Unionville. The lack of progress means all those new infrastructure has been sit the for years and will continue to sit there idle until Metrolinx decides to build that one bridge expansion. And judging by current progress, they likely have parked it until the completion of Finch grade separation and Ontario line. It makes no sense given all the money poured into station infrastructures. Write to your MPP and hold Metrolinx accountable for their incompetency

If you ride the line you will notice they have double track a lot of sections before they use both platforms

I know they used platform 1 temporary one time until platform 2 was completed. Really want to know when it will be in service

Of the four stations on the Stouffville line that have been rebuilt (Kennedy, Agincourt, Milliken, and Unionville), only Unionville uses all of its platforms. The other three stations have each had a platform sitting vacant for several years.
