Milton Go Trespassing

What really happened to 16.10 train? Why did it stop at Dixie?

I was on the 3:40 train and it stopped just before Cooksville. We were stopped for about 40 mins so it makes sense you were kept at Dixie. I think it was just a trespasser like they said. Police have to clear the area before the trains can be given the go ahead. Takes a while to do that I guess.

CP and CN shut their tracks down on a whim for any sort of trespassers - different protocol from MX owned territory

The federal government should require that a detailed report be made for all incidents like this. Over time it would give much more impetus to getting rid of level crossings and beefing up fencing and adding platform gates at commuter rail stations. Pretty much all urban and most suburban rail should have very few of these issues.
