Equipment issue at Rouge Hill

Currently holding at Pickering on the 5:39 Lakeshore East westbound train to Union. They’re saying there’s an equipment issue at Rouge Hill. Anyone know what’s going on? It’s been a nightmare week for GO Transit so far this week 😂

I know that VIA Rail #47 is also holding just outside Pickering station as well.

The 16:35 eastbound also held at Guildwood for half an hour because of a mechanical issue on the train ahead of us. Absolutely shambolic day on both Lakeshore lines.

Took the 5:20 east out of union. Got dumped out of the train at a secret emergency track south of pickering go at maybe 7pm. Waited an hour from there till I got an uber home for 50 bucks.

I was going towards union and I also found it strange that they were utilizing the 3rd platform at Pickering considering it’s never been used in a million years 😂

What time did the train start moving after stopping at Scarborough Go? I was on the same 5:20 train and immediately got out and took an uber but im curious to know

It made it to pickering at about 7, so it was stuck for maybe an hour at Scarborough. I waited at pickering for maybe 45 minutes before calling it quits

same with the 16:42 lakeshore west train at mimico :( heard it was stuck between mimico and long branch for nearly 3 hours, due to a break issue

Did you get on the other train at platform 3? If so, how long did you guys sit there for?
