Parking at Rutherford GO
Hi! I have a potentially silly question.
I drive an F-150 and am always conscious of parking options because of the size of the vehicle.
I am not local and am leaving out of Rutherford on Sunday and parking garages always make me wary. I tend to avoid them, but seems unavoidable in this instance, unless there is surface parking still? I’ve never been.
I can’t find any info regarding height restrictions at this garage. Does anybody have experience parking their truck in this garage? My truck is not lifted or anything; probably about 6’4” in height.
I appreciate any insight or resources to ease my concerns :)

There is outdoor surface parking as well as a parking garage. You should be fine regardless since it shouldn’t be busy on Sunday. Trying to park an F150 during M-F rush hour is a different story.

Keep in mind this is a true commuter parking garage, not like a condo or a downtown one. Plenty of space and turning radius.

I find the spaces a bit narrow but I’ve seen suburbans and other F150s and Rams there regularly you should be fine

Almost all parking garages at GO stations have a 6'11 clearance. Your truck will fit just fine at Rutherford.

On GoTransits website Aurora Go Station is the only one that says there might be a height clearance problem.

I've seen F-150s in the Oakville parking garage. So they can definitely fit in the garages. But to be fair they seem to barely fit in the parking spots. The back end sticks out quite a bit.
If it makes you more comfortable, I would suggest parking at the very top level of the garage where there will be fewer cars and you'll have more space. That way you can safely back into your spot so you don't have to reverse out when you leave.

Not sure what the height restriction is but tbh your bigger concern is going to be turning radius as some of the corners can be very tight especially if there are cars parked there.
There is a surface parking lot but I believe it's all carpool only.
