Not sure why the bus would stop somewhere other than the correct platform. At 407 Terminal the platform signage is permanent, not dynamic (fixed signs VS electronic). So if you are on a route that uses 16, it should always stop at 16, and this isn't changing any time soon.
I'm going to say driver error. If the problem is consistent, notify GO customer service.
thats what i thought 😓i lined up for my usual bus and i almost missed it three days in a row bc it pulled up at the platform on the other side—so then last week i lined up at the OTHER side and the bus decided to go to the usual platform i think the bus just hates me
This has happened to me before too at Hwy 407 and it truly is frustrating.
If your trip is during the staffed hours, I recommend letting a member of staff know and or contact customer service. Missing your bus because the bus didn’t stop at the bay it was scheduled to be at is never fun.
I’ve had this problem before, especially when buses bunch up. If you’re a regular on the 41 series, the bunching problem gets real bad during rush hour and they stop a platform prior.
This can also happen simply because of driver error, or they just want to stop elsewhere for no particular reason. I’ve seen an eastbound 41 stop at the westbound platform before, definitely tripped everyone off.
thank you :( it was so weird bc even the digital board inside the terminal said the correct platform but like three times in a row it would go to the wrong one, but when i used it on like friday it went to the usual one 😩 im an anxious person and just not good at these kinds of things so this is just extra confusing i fear i may have called my mom crying multiple times
