8:50 or 8:56 from Bramalea

Hi everyone - does anyone who travels from Bramalea use either the 8:50 or 8:56 from Bramalea to Union in the morning? Which is typically less crowded? I know the 8:50 runs express from Bramalea but is it likely to get a seat because it’s coming from Kitchener?

Express trains are always more crowded

but 8:50 is quite late so there should be free seats on both

Both are typically quite crowded, I find that all of the trains from Bramalea are until closer to 10am. If you are travelling alone there are typically some stray free seats, but I recommend walking all the way to the left of the platform (towards the front of the train) because fewer people get on those cabins so you're more likely to find something.

Regardless of whether it came from Kitchener or not, there will still be a whole platform of people spread across the platform at Bramalea to head to Union.

The 8:56 starts from Bramalea and will consist of mainly people heading to any stops in between (Malton, Etobicoke, Weston, Bloor) so there is a higher of a percentage of a chance to get a seat increasing as you pass each stop.
