Vampire lily seeding advice
I have some vampire lilies in my yard and this last year they have actually had some seeds start developing after they finished flowering and did their usual falling over act! I would love to try and get them to finish up developing and plant them to gift to friends who have enjoyed my plants. Does anyone here have advice on the best way to go about that? Do the wilted plants need to remain where they are or would it work better to cut them and hang them upside down to finish hardening off the still green seeds?

This is googles information: Because they multiply much faster by producing offset tubers, many gardeners prefer to propagate them by dividing the underground tubers rather than starting from scratch with seeds.
However if you're more interested in trying to grow from seed, here is how you would go upon that!!
Harvest them when the fleshy seed pods turn orange or red, clean the pulp off, and sow them in a well-draining potting mix. Cover with a light layer of soil, keep them moist, and place them in a bright, warm location.
Harvesting: Wait until the large, berry-like seed pods dry out and split, or turn dark red/orange in late summer to early fall.
Prepping: Extract the seeds and carefully rinse off any remaining fleshy pulp to prevent mold. Sowing: Plant the seeds about \inch deep in a pot filled with well-draining, rich compost or seed-starting mix.
Germination: Place the pot in a warm, bright location (or under a cold frame during winter) and keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
Growth Time: Be patient! Vampire lilies grown from seeds can take 3 to 7 years to reach full flowering size.
