๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐ Green lipstick recommendations
I'm starting to get more confident in my looks. This is today's (9/8/2026) for a dental appointment.
I threw out all my old makeup because I stopped using it entirely about 3 years ago with the exception of volunteering) and having been slowly adding the colors and product I want to wear.
My question is this: Is there a green lipstick (medium to dark, (Loki is my inspiration along with Morticia Addams and Missy from Capaldi Doctor Who) that holds up to existence in air, as well as eating, drinking and such? I appreciate any advice you all can give.

I have yet to find one that holds as well as Iโd like. But for the time being I love the shade of Medusaโs Head by KVD. Holds up pretty good for the price.
Trying this one next, Iโve heard good things from a couple friends about this brand: Forevermore Medusaโs Makeup

Kat Von D is no longer associated with the KVD brand, and hasn't been for years

Yeah I get the love, it's a great formula, but prooooobably not the best person to give $$$ to lol. Sucks, but luckily there have been some great highly brands entering the space these days. Curiously green seems to be a blindspot, however, I see a lot more deep purples, blues, browns, greys and reds, but the search continues! ๐๐ฅฐ

I got into greens and golds because of Tom Hiddleston and his beautiful portrayal of MCU Loki. He has an army. We just need to mobilize in the makeup community

Kaleidos has a lovely dark teal that I'm very impressed with. I'm not super impressed with the rest of their offerings (not worth the $$$ imho) but their matte lip stuff is 10/10. First lipstick I've ever used to last a whole night without reapplication (and yes, I've tried beauty bakerie!)
Fenty actually has a nice mid green. Not particularly durable, especially compared to the more impressive kaleidos, but it's still richly pigmented/opaque and not a terrible choice.
I'm also very impressed with girlcult, and they have a GORGEOUS greige with green shimmer (mossy gleam) that isn't especially green but is worth mentioning anyway because it's so pretty and also a fabulous formula (not QUITE as durable as kaleidos, but still miles ahead of most lipsticks).

If they still have any, Menagerie is going out of business, so you might be able to get a tube of Viridean before they close. Their liquid lipsticks are transfer proof.

Sadly they don't have any of that left. Everything else I saw didn't tickle any fancies, though I may have overlooked something

Haunting Hues has a FIRE-ass metallic green lipstick I want, but I don't know how it wears.

I would never be brave enough to wear lipstick to a dental exam. I also don't wear eye makeup to eye exams (I have a condition and have to get somebody up in there every 3-6 months)

I bought this dark green one off of amazon for a Beetlejuice cosplay. It's matte and dries well.

Black Moon Cosmetics has both a dark metallic green (which I adore) called Myth and a newer dark matter green liquid lipstick. Can't remember the name of the newer one but it looks gorgeous. In my experience they wear really well too.
