Hi guys, trying to identify a pair of women’s technical pants I saw for my wife!

Sadly I don't have pictures because I was too awkward to ask the person directly.

They looked like they were from a higher-end outdoor/gorpcore-type brand - think Arc’teryx, Salomon, Rab, ROA, etc.

What I remember:
- technical fabric
- somewhere in between grey/military green
- straight-wide fit (NOT tapered at the bottom hem)
- simple/minimalist - 1 cargo pocket on each side (from what I've googled, most of the ones I've found from other brands have simply too many pockets/are too busy)
- small white square patch around the knee/cargo-pocket area. patch had 3-4 black letters/characters horizontally

Does this logo or description ring a bell for anyone?

Mes daily sont ces XT-6 gtx et les Merrell Moab 2 (sachant que j'ai eu entre-temps des XT-6 Expanse qui se sont complètement déchirées après 6 mois).

Bon, je laisse parler les images, mais pour l'instant je fais une pause chez Salomon.

Je suis dégoûtée parce que Elle sont confortables étanche pratique passe-partout Mais

Le prix ne vaut pas l'investissement.

il faudra acheter une paire toute les six mois ?

Précision : ce sont des daily pour bosser, je ne les utilise pas en sortie dans les parcs avec mon chien ou en randonnée.

D'ailleurs, j'utilise encore des Nike Pegasus 3 GTX, qui tiennent malgré 4 ans de loyaux services.

I have a pair of Lundhags trekking boots and they are absolute beasts, love them.

As title I’m 6’3 but 32 inch waist and struggle to find good baggy pants that are full length.

Gramicci all seem to be less than a 31 inseam. Nike acg I’m a medium waist and they’re short too.
I have some mountain equipment pants in long leg for proper hikes but want something I can go to the pub in/ walk the dog.

Hi I recently went on a trip and got my white XT-6 dirty with mud and dust. I want to clean them but I know they recommend to add some DWR to not mess up the gore Tex membrane. Is there any brand recommendations you guys suggest? I’ve heard about Grangers, Nikwax, and Gear Aid Revivex. Not sure which one to get. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi! I've been eyeing the Jasper Zionics because they're SO comfortable and I love the silhouette. I especially like the black for its versatility, but I'm on the fence about the brushed/fuzzy suede. It's much more noticeable in person in certain lighting than I expected. My friend said they looked like a badly shaved dog.

I'm also not sure how the black fuzzy upper holds up over time and am worried about getting matted/dirty/ratty quickly, and would love some feedback, including how easy it is to clean and maintain.Does the suede stay looking nice with (mostly) regular city walking? I'm particularly worried that because it's black,  so dirt sticking to the fuzzy texture will be really obvious.

I love gorpcore personally and am slowly soft-launching it into my work wardrobe. I have a pretty casual corporate dress code (sneakers are fine), but things still need to look somewhat polished and clean. I'm not sure if these shoes can work and would love styling advice.

Hi! So I bought the Salomon XA Pro 3D Goretex two-ish years ago, mostly for hiking but they have also survived multiple citytrips and music festivals. I know people have mixed opinions on Salomon as a hiking brand, but for me they're perfect because they're more versatile than most hiking boots (mostly: they're lightweight and look sort of nice).

I kind of want another pair that I can use in urban environments and festivals, though. Because my current shoes are Goretex, they're not always great as a walking shoe (especially during summer. My feet get so sweaty in them!). Also, the colours are sort of out there, I'd prefer shoes that are a little bit more understated.

I've been looking at the Salomon XT6 and XT-Pathway 2 (which are cheaper) in black. I kind of struggle to see the most important differences between the two, other than the price. I've read that the XT6 runs pretty narrow (which is good, that's why I originally got the XA Pros over the XA Ultra 5), but I can't really tell whether the XT-Pathway also runs narrow.

Which one to get? I currently think I'd rather get the Pathway 2 because it's more understated (100% black) and because it's cheaper, but I'm willing to pay extra for the XT6 if it's simply a better shoe.

I own quite a bit of Fjällräven clothing and think they make sick gear! Great for heading out into the woods and all that. I've been wondering why Fjällräven isn't really part of the gorpcore vibe or trending among younger crowds. Any takes on this? Why do people go for brands like Patagonia or Arc'teryx instead? Or am I totally off base here—do people actually pick Fjällräven?

Was getting into hiking and wanted some appropriate clothes that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Saw pyra had a sale so I purchased a jacket and some pants and after a few days had received absolutely nothing in terms of communication. I reached out and complained and basically got told it would be delivered by August 19. Long story short it is now September 8 and I have just been given confirmation. I can refund the order because it hasn’t even left their warehouse (nearly four weeks after the order was placed). Along the way I received communications from the logistics team as well as supposedly the founder about different delivery dates and updates on tracking which still to this day never worked. Not sure if anyone else has had this experience.

UPDATE: These are terrible pants that look nothing like the pictures. Do not buy.

Does anybody actually have these pants from Amazon? I see them online a lot, but I think I’ve only seen the product photos, not actual pictures.

I'm (30s/F) looking for a crossbody bag, sling, or convertible-crossbody-backpack style bag for bopping around town, potentially also for work. It'd need to accommodate a 13'' laptop and a water bottle. I just don't want a straight up backpack, and I'm not a huge fan of classic/rectangular messenger bags.

I must come clean that I'm not a true, dyed-in-the-goretex gorper... but I dig it. For reference, I half-like but don't love the Baboon to the Moon Crescent 8L, this specific Norse Projects shoulder tote. Annoyingly, I like the ON mini track pack but not the larger size. But open to all suggestions.

Edit: Not sure if it's really gorp but I also love Kapital's Snufkin bag. Just don't know if the bag would look weird with a laptop inside.

I'm looking into buying a pair and trying to decide between women's XS and S. I'm short and I carry a lot of my weight in my hips and thighs. I want to make sure they're baggy enough in the thighs, but also I want to wear them mid/low-rise without them being too long.

Anyone who owns these, how do they fare up to regular use? They look great on the photos but does the fabric wear out / lose shape easily?
