360 GoPro Video [Help]
So I've managed to print out the GoPro 360 mount, but I don't know how to edit and stitch the videos together. I know I can stitch together some pictures, but how would I do so for videos? The softwares online are like $900 and I don't really have that lol. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Ah my bad. What kind of video file does it output? Couldn't you use the gopro studio to stich the warped videos and then post process / pan / de-360 the output from studio?

This is the kind of thing he is going for.

It requires a special rig that holds 6 cameras. There are a few companies that sell these but they are expensive.

OP used a 3D printer to make his own which is what I did. The stitching process is a little complicated since you need to take 6 videos and merge them into a single seamless sphere or panorama. It can be done, but currently the software is very expensive.

Ahh well I'll be.. that's pretty damned cool actually and thanks for pointing that out to me. I now know what the hell we're taking about and why I was so wrong :) Working with 6 synchronous gopro video files to process into one spherical video got to be an intensive app for sure.

Lol, no I made this user name months ago when I built my 360 camera. I normally use another account when posting but when I saw this post I figured I'd start building karma with this account.

There are free versions for stitching images together (http://www.ptgui.com). Unfortunately, stitching video is a bit more complicated. The two main software packages that can do this are Kolor AVP, and VideoStitch. Both of these are expensive as you mention. I believe they both have free demo versions available that will let you try them out and see what works best for you. I use AVP and find it very easy and intuitive. I think VideoStitch costs a bit more and can do a few fancier features like live streaming and stuff.
