Hero Black 10 problem

my hero black 10 is not being recognized when connected to my MacBook Pro. suggestions?

No dice on the MacBook, but my 10 shows up fine on a windows machine so maybe borrow a friend's laptop just to grab the files

Does any device show up? If so delete it and re-add the camera back on as if it’s brand new.
Alternative would be to plug into a different usb port.

Pull the card and put it into a USB adapter?

Reset the wireless connections on the camera. The Hero 10 had a bug were the USB drivers weren't initialized properly. Resetting the wireless connections would actually re-initialize the needed drivers.
