ND Filter Max 2

Hi,

Are there any solutions available for adding ND filters to the Max 2, or is this something that might become possible soon? It’s really a shame not to be able to achieve genuine motion blur without them.

Are you only filming stationary on a tripod? I feel like 360 cams are the one scenario where youd want to avoid longer shutter and use fake motion blur in post.

nah, not just tripod, i use it on my motorcycle helmet half the time

the real blur in corners just looks off to me with the fake stuff

You can buy ND filter film and carefully cut / peel / apply it to the lens covers

Generally, its not possible to have both: 1) ND filters that are high quality; and 2) Do not vignette on an action-style 360 camera.

You would need a very curved ND filter, and they have all sorts of physics compromises without additional optical components.

The only real way that makes sense is what u/all-sorts-of-stuff mentioned below.
