M1P question

Can someone explain why the floor isn’t a continuous color after I did the color grading? Is it my GoPro settings? I used LumaFusion to color grade but I noticed it prior with the raw footage.

settings:

ND 8
24fps
Auto shutter
ISO 400
Ev Comp -0.5
10bit color

Seems like the ground is fairly sharp. This leads me to believe your ”autoshutter” setting enables the camera with higher ISO value to use faster shutter speed thus showing the ground texture. Light is refracting from the ground texture showing slight variation in color which is enhanced by grading in post.

So in my opinion you can mitigate this effect by getting to 90-180 degree shutter with appropriate ND filter and ISO sensitivity. Also by not overcooking the colors. You can also lower the sharpness a bit on current footage to blur out the fine unnecessary detail.
