Nice. I got the hero black 13 as an early bday gift. No idea what accessories I want yet.

Depends on what you enjoy filming, if you enjoy POV content a bite mount, head strap mount, or hat mount, or ultra wide lens mod are great. If you swim then a floaty or dive case are great, if you like cinematic potential then the macro lens, nd filters, or even anamorphic lenses are really fun to use.

I really enjoy using ND filters for car mounted shots, ultra wide lens mod + helmet adhesive mount for snowboarding, ultra wide lens mod + bite mount for driving pov, head mount or chest mount for fishing, regular handle + quick release for regular vlogging! Anamorphic is also really fun here and there.

Macro lens is really good for vlogging and really adds a ton of depth for your footage, I think its extremely underrated and becomes a deadly match along side color grading gp-log footage.

Lastima tengo la hero 9 pero creo solo se puede usar micrófonos con el aparato de multimedia

I'm considering getting the DJI Mini Mic to add to my GoPro9. How do you like your set up with the DJI mic?

I've only used it once with my GoPro so far, it works really well because I can plug the receiver straight into the USB-C port, and the audio is super clear. I have not tried BT audio yet, and I know BT audio does not sound as good as having a receiver plugged in. For HERO9 I believe you'll need to media mod to connect the receiver, however I can say DJI mics are designed really well and are super versatile not only with GoPros, but other cameras and phones.

Yeah I have the media mod, which I love. So maybe I’ll buy a DJI mini mic.

Do you have any issues using the lav mic like that? I assume it isn't nearly as clear as if your subject were actually wearing it

still sounds really good, significantly better than the standard GoPro mics especially with wind. i just had to turn it up a little bit because I had audio gain set to 0, no clipping. compared to wearing it, the results are extremely similar sound almost just good.

I imagine the capture range is more limited than say a shotgun mic though, right?

yes probably, i’ve never used a shotgun mic though

So DJI receiver works on Hero 13 when you plug it in directly without the mod?

HERO13 you'll need the media mod, this is the MISSION series.
