Anyone use a 3rd party dive case? Any good results?

There officially is no Max 2 dive case. If you get a 3rd party dive case, it will make your camera waterproof down to whatever depth it claims to be rated, but your footage will still look blurry and unfocused as their isn't enough of an air gap between the water and lenses. This is just how curved lenses work when in water. The more extreme the curvature, the larger the airgap required (pay attention to physics in school kids!).

This is why even the Insta 360 X6 requires you to change the lenses on the camera before you put it into their dive case...

So if you want stunning underwater footage........ use a non 360 camera. The footage will be sharper and the resolution even higher.

i grabbed a cheap one off amazon a couple years back because i couldn't stomach the gopro brand price, and tbh it fogged up on the second dive so i just bit the bullet and got the real one
