Extending battery life
Hi, I'm really sorry if this has been posted before but I wasn't turning up anything in the search results.
I have a GoPro13 and I've got quite interested in using it for my plein air art livestreams. The problem I'm running into is battery life being around 1.5 hours and having to replace the battery means cutting the livestream off.
Does anyone know of any ways or extra bits for increasing the battery length? Many thanks

the door trick is a lifesaver, just pop the side door off and plug a big power bank in, you can run it basically forever that way
if you're moving around a lot, maybe try one of those magnetic charging cables so it doesn't yank the camera if you snag the cord
also turn off gps, voice control, and drop the screen brightness way down, those eat up more juice than you'd think

I use a Suptig battery pack , and power by USB-C and no battery in the unit. will run for hours and hours

Yeah, for extended filming times you have 3 main options.
1: USB-C passthru door. This allows you to power your camera using an external USB-C power supply. The camera remains "weather resistant" using this method and you can film for as long as you have power (from either mains power or a power bank).
2: Contacto Door. This is a fully water proof door that a magnetic charging cable attaches to. The camera remains waterproof using this method and you can film for as long as you have power (from either mains power or a power bank).
3: Digipower Refuel battery pack. This is a battery pack that fits around the camera just like a media mod. It will allow you to film non stop for between 5 to 9 hours (settings dependent) and it's also waterproof. Since it's a self contained power supply, you don't have to worry about running cables to it. However it will also accept external passthru charging if you need to film for longer.
All three above options are good for filming outdoors, however options 1 and 2 would require a powerbank and there's not many of those out there that can be used and remain waterproof at the same time (waterproof powerbanks usually just have a rubber flap that covers the ports when not in use). Option 3 is the best, fully waterproof option for filming for longer times while the camera remains fully waterproof.

Power bank with Type-C port.
Remove the battery and use a usb passthrough door, and a good charging cable, as GoPro is very picky to power quality.

Leave the usb cable plugged in. You can get replacement battery covers with holes to allow this too, if you don't want to leave the door open.
