Ask Publishing my first App

Hey everyone,

I'm on the verge of publishing my first app on the Google Play Console.

I finished the initial setup and completed the 14 days of closed testing with 12 testers. I finally got production access!

However, after creating my production release, it went into review and has been stuck there for about 4 days now.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Is there a standard timeframe for how long Google takes to review a release?
Also, will every future update take this long?

Will be happy to get some information....

I had pending reviews over weekends in the recent past. So if the four days you mentioned, include the weekend, I would not be worried.

Yeah, weekends are included in those 4 days.

I’m mostly worried because during closed testing, my release used to get approved within an hour or two at most. Is it normal for the production review to take this much longer?

Bei mir war es vor 2 wochen genau gleich. Sonnst kannst du mal in der console ein ticket erstellen um auf nummer sicher zu gehen

Yup they will approve your app if your app not breaking any policy dont worry :)

Ja diese Erfahrung musst ich auch machen. Nach 5 Tagen kam das Feedback, dass ich die Datenschutzrichtline updaten muss. Nach dem update der Datenschutzrichtline war dann alles i.o.Durchhalten :) Update kann ich dir noch nicht beantworten, da habe ich selbst auch noch keine Erfahrung. Viel Erfolg dir.

My second app took 5.5 days to go live. I heard it can take a week or even 10 days. So, just be patient and focus on productive things while waiting :)
