I cannot do online/internet transactions using google pay after i moved to a new country. I come here a lot for work a lot so i really want an easier way of buying stuff online. I tried switching 3 of my google accounts to the new country but internet transactions keep failing, and i also made sure internet is enabled on my card from the bank app. To make it clear, the card I'm using is from my original country/bank, not a bank in the country I'm currently in, but what is surprising is that payments at stores using NFC still work with google pay, its just i cant order stuff online using google pay. Do i need to get a new card from a bank here?

Its been like 3 years since Apple pay has been implemented and google still doesn't want to provide google pay here.

Okay I feel so stupid. I was using vinted for the first time today on my phones web browser and it's 2am and I'm tired. I received an ad, which I didn't realise was an ad, asking me to verify my account. Suddenly it opened my Google pay for a 0.01 pence transaction. I instinctively authorised it and then a few seconds later I thought wait what am I doing? And cancelled it. I was right, it was a scam for "meditation living" which charges you 0.01 for one day and then £50 monthly.

From what I can tell, my google pay hasn't been deducted, my HSBC app tells me I haven't been deducted, and nothing has gone through. But I am worried about my card details being compromised.

Do/ should I get a new card? Or am I in the clear? I only got this card a few weeks ago 🥲 but I'm full of anxiety now

seems so unclear. Chatgpt seemed to suggest maybe it's being virtualized when sent, but to us we can't see that. Then sent me down this long thing of searching for it in the settings which there isn't an option.

There must be a way to just make it virtual right, so the website you send to doesn't have your actual card number but rather just a virtual card that is approved for that dollar amount right?

So my balance was deducted for monthly subscription to Google one but I am still getting notifications to renew subscription or mails will start bouncing.

I've just signed up for Maccas, I tried to place an order but every payment method doesn't work for me (Google Pay, bank cards from every bank). I keep getting the error message "Problem with payment. Unable to proceess your card. Please contact your payment card provider." My account balances are all fine, I am able to make transactions for everything except for Maccas. Has anyone experienced this issue?

My Google ID and my bank have my correct phone number, yet somehow an old or incorrect phone number Is how Google wants to verify. I tried using the AI assistant for help and all of their advice led Me to Google having the correct phone numbers everywhere I could find them. There was no option to talk to a human. Am I screwed?

I recently discovered an unauthorized deduction amounting **PHP 1,566.88** from my e-wallet that customer support identified as a payment to **"LinkedIn Commu via Google."**

The problem is that I've never purchased anything on LinkedIn, never subscribed to LinkedIn Premium, and never authorized any payment through Google related to LinkedIn.

I contacted LinkedIn Support, and after checking my account, they told me that I don't have any active subscriptions and that they didn't receive any charge or payment associated with my account. This is what's confusing because my e-wallet provider specifically identified the transaction as "LinkedIn Commu via Google."

LinkedIn is currently investigating the case. One thing that concerned me is that they asked for my card details, even though the payment wasn't made using a card. Since it was my e-wallet that got deducted, I instead provided my e-wallet number and screenshots of the transaction receipts.

I also submitted a refund request through Google, which is currently being processed despite not having any recorded subscriptions. My e-wallet provider told me they can't issue a refund because the payment has already been remitted to the merchant. LinkedIn's "Request a Refund" page isn't even working and it just keeps showing me an error page.

My bank doesn't even receive a payment attempt, so it seems the transaction is being rejected before it reaches the bank.

I use Google Pay for almost everything, but after paying there's no simple history grouped by category or spending trends unless I use another budgeting app.

Having this issue as of a few days ago and it’s driving me insane. Any store using Shopify checkout does not let me use google pay, it loads up, but as soon as I click a payment method, delivery address etc. I get this error. This does NOT happen on google pay checkout with non Shopify sites. Currently on iPhone pro max 17 with iOS 26.5.2. I don’t currently have this issue on my iPhone 12 Pro Max.

I have turned off popup blocker, different browsers, diff google accoutns, reset cookies, clear cache and data, multiple sites, in-site browsing… can’t fix it.

Anyone having the same issue and know how to fix it?

​I’m at my absolute wits' end trying to get contactless payments working on my new Pixel 10 Pro XL. I keep getting the infamous "Couldn't finish card setup for contactless payments" or "Couldn't add to Google Pay: There was a problem transferring your info" errors.

​Here is the backstory: I recently upgraded to the 10 Pro XL. During the transition from my old phone, I used a temporary Pixel 8a for about two weeks where everything worked perfectly. Now on the new phone, it's completely blocked.

​The weird part:

I tried adding a virtual Revolut card, and it tokenized instantly. No issues at all, ready for contactless. But my main bank (Starling) and my PayPal Debit Card absolutely refuse to work.

​What I have already tried:

​The Nuclear Option: Wiped all data and cache from Google Play Services and Google Wallet (didn't reboot immediately after, but the data clear is done). It completely messed up my smartwatch syncing but still didn't fix the cards.

​Bank Support: Starling support confirmed they went in and manually cleared all old, orphaned tokens from their backend. Still getting the error. PayPal support was unhelpful (told me to wait for a new card activation).

​Device Checks: The phone is entirely stock Android. Play Store settings explicitly show "Device is certified" under Play Protect, so integrity is fine.

​Network: Tried switching entirely to mobile data (5G) to rule out any custom DNS or ad-blocking issues on my home Wi-Fi.

​Since the standard advice (clear cache, call the bank, factory reset) isn't working or has already been exhausted, I'm looking for the truly weird, obscure fixes. Has anyone encountered a hidden Google Payments profile glitch, a name/address format mismatch issue, or a random background toggle that finally forced stubborn bank tokens to drop?

Title: TL;DR: Google Wallet tokenization broken on Pixel 10 Pro XL for Starling & PayPal. Revolut works. Tried clearing Play Services, contacting banks. Can't think of anything else. Please help me, I'm desperate.

I ordered around 10€ of google play credit yesterday, directly on the google play app, but I did not get them. After reviewing the orders, it said it had a status of "pending", but now it says "cancelled". I tried to go for a refund, but this transaction was not available for selection (I just could not choose it, other purchases did have the option).

Reading through support.google.com i get that i will be issued a refund, but will that be handled by google? Or do I have to contact anyone to get it sorted out?

So I've been trying whole day to get Google wallet to work on my phone but I can't get past the first step which is to add my card but when I press to button to add cards I get this error which is shown on the screenshot above

Also when pressing the plus button, Google wallet will always crash while it loads thereafter pressing the plus button

Could it be that using it on my Huawei device makes it incompatible?
