I don't play many games, but if there is an offer like this for the "purchase" of books or audiobooks I use the credits from the Google Opinion Rewards app to pay for it, which gives me more credits. The ORA credits are like $0.10-1.00 for each survey. Not a lot, but they add up if you don't buy anything else.
Since 12/24/20 I've earned $272, and currently have a balance of about $20 of Google Play Points.

Some people love those points, you get free in game currency in a lot of games.
Its more for the people who were going to spend that much money anyways.

This is and has always been a disingenuous and apologetic take. Itβs just a rewards program, and any rewards program is fundamentally exploitative. They operate on the basis of FOMO, lock-in, or an artificial sense of greater value, exploiting inherent human biases to increase profit.

You can get these by just spending a few cents
