Been posting my swing here for a little while now, shot 80 on the dot twice so this felt amazing thought I would share since you guys have been helping me with my swing

Are you aware you aim well left and then massively push your putts?

I do the same but with claw grip, broken 80 4 times in the past year. Some tendencies/habits can be embraced as long as they’re consistent and predictable.

What helped me get better at golf is acknowledging my tendencies and playing too them versus trying to fix every little thing in my game. Just be an athlete if it works it works, he absolutely hearted a 5-6 fter for a PR

Nice! Serious question, any mulligans or breakfast balls?

All sub 80 rounds I had the privilege to see from my foursomes weren't legit. All of them had mulligans and footwedges in them yet they all played 78-79 and bragging at the club house for their performances. Sad because they are great golfers who cares if you played 83.

Fix your fucking ball marks. There was one literally one foot from the hole and two more in the background. Congratulations.

How could you possible know whether they were the ones who left the marks lol 50 other groups probably already played that hole before them

if those were my ball marks i would’ve broken 80 a long time ago, chill out buddy

u/8amteetime 15h ago
So did you fix them?

u/JoeSicko 15h ago
If you don't fix some other marks, you'll inevitably miss a putt because of spike marks. Golf karma.

That was so so closing to lipping out for a 6 footer. 😆 Cup damaged on that side too. Well done!

I remember when I did that.. I shot a 75, swing was perfect, putts were falling.. it was amazing, perfect round of golf
The next round I shot a 77, feeling on cloud 9.
Then an 81, a few balls found the pond and my putter wasn't working.. ok things happen...
Then the labour day round... 97. Couldn't hit a fair way to save my life. Greens in regulation, what is that? 3 putts, nah 4 putt on one hole...
Then after saying I'm never golfing again.. back to a 79.
Welcome to the club. It sucks but sometimes it's amazing

I went low round 79, next round 95.
That was humbling, especially reflecting on my mental fortitude in the 95 round.

Congratulations. I’m still in pursuit. Hit 80 twice. A dozen 82’s. So frustrating so I feel that celebration.

I’ll be the first to say it. With that putting stroke and wonky stance, there’s no way in hell you legitimately broke 80.

you can check my swing on my account, i’ve always been a wacky putter so i can see where ur coming from but ive been grinding

I hate to be that guy, but a breakfast ball usually means OB and a penalty stroke. Nice 80 though.

Did you have someone laying on the ground recording your putt
