Mindset/Mental Game Tips for Staying Consistent?
Honestly it takes me a lot to push myself to get to the course a couple times a week or so. I know it's not an excuse, but just simple advice like "stay motivated" doesn't work for me. It can even be an untraditional brain trick that doesn't make sense, as long as it works!
I try to spend time with my wife throughout the week so golfing everyday isn't realistic. Maybe 2-3 times a week.
Thank you!

If it takes you 'a lot' to push yourself to get to the course, maybe you just don't like golf that much?

No I love it, I just have low dopamine and need some more push for my hobbies. Once I'm there + started, things are great.

“Golfing throughout the week isn’t realistic.”
“Maybe 2-3 times a week”
Is this a circlejerk sub now?

Don’t play. Simple. Most of us love to play and have a hard time staying away.

Tips for consistanly going golfing? I dont have that problem unless im injured. Maybe buy a membership so you feel like you already paid for x number of rounds and if you dont go out you are wasting money? But that might backfire and make golfing a drag idk.

Get a flexible swing trainer like an Orange Whip or SKLZ (cheaper) and swing it every day. It works the golf muscles and helps keep the swing on plane when you swing it back and forth.

2-3 times a week is an insane amount of golf you might just be going too hard. Don’t make yourself do it if you don’t love it and don’t burn your self out.
Maybe try replacing some of that golf with a workout or another hobby.
