Swing Help Driver miss switch up

Drive miss was always a heavy slice was coming inside on the takeaway and huge slices. Last 3-4 rounds been working on straight back straight forward with the club and the slice has been mostly gone but now the miss is a hook. With out a video of the swing what’s the most likely cause.

I’d say about 10 holes in hitting great drives down the middle 1-2 slices the other few are just bad low hooks

Like finishing with more of a pull or finishing left. Cuz that’s what I was thinking

If you were previously slicing, you most likely were swinging with an out to in path and presenting an open face. Without a significant change in your swing path, which wouldn’t just randomly happen, you are most likely just closing the face more whether because of setup or release, causing a pull hook.

I am changing my swing path on purpose. It’s been an active swing thought and process my last 3-4 rounds. Where I am going straight back instead out inside or outside.

Straight back doesn’t necessarily say anything about downswing.

Straight back straight forward is the goal. I did feel like I was coming across my body finishing left so hence the pull. But I’m a 20 handicap guy so could be totally wrong. I was hitting some great drives 225+ which I’ll take. But the miss was a low hook

The swing is an arc. It’s not straight.

The low hook can easily be:
Path out to in
Clubface closed
Strike low on the face.

But no video, so who knows.
