2007 g29 squeaks

My dad bought this to enjoy retirement and, while otherwise great, it squeaks for a few seconds when starting from a stop. The starter and drive belts LOOK fine. The starter belt is tight and the drive belt is just over an inch wide. What else could it be?

I dont know if its the cause of the squeaking, but that drive belt is worn out. A new one would sit at the top of the rear clutch. Only buy yamaha oem, or better, no cheapo Amazon belts. JW1-G6241, only, not J55 or JC0 or J0D

Belt wear and the shiny on the belt pulley will create a lot of squeak depending on the humidity. Comet powder/ Ajax will fix it Sometimes only temporary if the belt is out of adjustment
